The McNally for Indiana campaign will play host to a candidate panel to discuss the state of women’s health care in Indiana and the effects of Senate Bill 1 on women in the state. At this forum, candidates and experts will discuss and answer questions about how policy changes concerning reproductive health.

Two local candidates will take part in forum to discuss Indiana’s environmental issues

Indiana United for our Future (INUF), the state’s first environmental political action committee (PAC), next week will hold the first in a series of environmental forums for candidates the PAC has endorsed. The endorsed candidates attending the Carmel forum are Matt McNally, running in House District 39, and Victoria Garcia Wilburn, running in House District 32. The panel will be moderated by environmental lawyer and expert Larry Kane, who formerly served as director of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.

When I decided to run for State Representative in Indiana’s 39th district, I knew that I wanted to make supporting labor unions a major part of my campaign, “said McNally. “Unions have done so much for me and my family to provide us with a better, more secure life. However, Unions have not always had the support they need from our state to do the work of protecting and supporting workers. We all must do more to support labor unions in Indiana, especially as a part of our celebrations this Labor Day weekend.”

Moms for Liberty chapter apologizes for quoting Hitler in newsletter

Matt McNally, a Democrat running for Indiana’s 39th Congressional District, said the group’s move makes clear that Moms for Liberty has “no business” in politics. “No group that quotes Nazis should be anywhere near our children or have any influence in our community,” McNally tweeted. “It is time for our community leaders to stop acquiescing to them and make clear that their hateful rhetoric will not be tolerated.”

When you take a step back and look at our awesome Westfield Washington schools, it’s clear we have great teachers who really care about our children and their success. Maybe some of this is just me reflecting as my oldest is near graduation and onto college, but I truly want to thank every teacher my kids have had along the way – from Shamrock Springs Elementary through Westfield High School.
